If there's a charge in your account that you don't recognize, it might be one of the following:
-Extra time fees
ECOBICI members receive the first 45 minutes of each ride. If you keep a bike out for longer than 45 minutes at a time, there is an extra usage fee and possible account suspension can ensue if the ride time is exceeded for 120 minutes.
If you want to be able to use the bike for a longer period of time, you can use it for 45 minutes, return it, and then take another one to continue your ride.
-Lost bike charge
A bike that has been out for more than 24 consecutive hours is considered lost or stolen. The renter is responsible for returning the bike to the system and locking it correctly.
Don't forget to check for a red light when you lock up your bike!

To avoid being charged for extra time, keep your rides to 45 minutes each. Take as many rides as you want while your membership is active!
